BOISE ZOO
The Boise Zoo (OK, it’s official name is Zoo Boise) is a fantastic place for kids to see firsthand over 300 animals of over 100 difference species.
DISCOVERY CENTER of Idaho
This is a great place to take kids to learn about science, math, and technology. Located near the Boise Zoo in Downtown Boise, the Discovery Center will fill your kids’ day and expand their brains.
BOISE Aquarium
The Boise Aquarium had made national news awhile back because of some supposed violations regarding their efforts to get exotic species to Idaho for Treasure Valley residents to see? Their legal problems seem to be over, and we’re glad—because the aquarium is home to over 250 species of marine life in over 35,000 gallons of water! Take the kids to check out the sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, and hundreds more.
ALIVE AFTER FIVE
One of the coolest hotspots in Boise is the night of music, entertainment, and food at Wednesday’s “Alive After Five” concerts. Arrive early to get good parking! The even runs from 5-8pm in the Basque Block of Downtown Boise. What…you don’t know about the Basque Block?
BOTANICAL GARDENs

The Idaho Botanical Gardens has a stunning array of the world’s plants. But that’s probably not why you’ll go. The Botanical Gardens sit in a beautiful spot at the base of Table Rock, and are the site of frequent concerts from big name artists in the summery. Check out the “Outlaw Concert Series” and other big name musical headlines in a beautiful outdoor setting. You can bring your lawn chairs and pack a picnic dinner for a hot date. And yes—alcohol is served at these events.

The Village is Meridian’s featured dining, shopping and entertainment hotspot. The Village includes everything you’ll need for the perfect date. ROARING SPRINGS Water park
Roaring Springs is the largest waterpark in the northwest, and it is FUN. Whether you and your kids are big-time adrenaline junkies or lazy river floating types, the whole family will enjoy Roaring Springs (conveniently located next to Wahooz Family Fun Zone).
WAHOOZ FAMILY FUN ZONE AND PINZ BOWLING CENTER
Wahooz is the ultimate place for birthday parties or just a night out for the family. If you haven’t tried laser tag, this is a must. You’ll definitely bond with your kids. You can also find go-karts, miniature golf, a great arcade, bowling, and of course—food. Expect to put on a pound or two here, but it’s worth it, right?
