BOISE Aquarium

The Boise Aquarium had made national news awhile back because of some supposed violations regarding their efforts to get exotic species to Idaho for Treasure Valley residents to see? Their legal problems seem to be over, and we’re glad—because the aquarium is home to over 250 species of marine life in over 35,000 gallons of water! Take the kids to check out the sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, and hundreds more.

The Idaho Botanical Gardens has a stunning array of the world’s plants. But that’s probably not why you’ll go. The Botanical Gardens sit in a beautiful spot at the base of Table Rock, and are the site of frequent concerts from big name artists in the summery.
