WHAT IS BOISE'S WEATHER LIKE?

Boise Weather and Seasons

BOISE WEATHER

Boise weather is considered pretty mild/moderate. We get all four seasons here, but nothing too extreme. An unseasonably hot day in summer might get above 100 degrees, but typically not for very long. The same goes for the winter—while we get some snow, and temperates can sometimes get into the single digits overnight, the snow doesn’t often come down very hard or accumulate for long.

Getting all four seasons is definitely a plus. Boise has plenty of trees that turn beautiful colors in the fall, and it makes a great backdrop for a walk on the Boise Greenbelt or a bike ride along the Boise River. Boise is also unique in that it has a ski resort just 30 minutes from Downtown. Called Bogus Basin, it is very accessible to local residents, reasonably priced, and has good skiing/snowboarding slopes. There are also gorgeous trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. In the summer, Bogus Basin offers hiking, mountain biking trails, and even ziplining.
