When you’re ready to plan your trip to Idaho, call us and we can give you pointers based on budget and the location you want to do your home search in. If you are considering everything from Ada County to Canyon County, it might be wise to pick a hotel that’s centrally located. There are a cluster of hotels near the Eagle Road exit of the freeway (I-84), that might work for this, including La Quinta, Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, Marriott, and Hilton.
If you are only going to be looking at properties in Boise City proper, you have the choice of hotels near the airport (you have most of the above chain options, plus a couple other competing chains), or going Downtown for some more unique choices. Some of these include The Grove (luxury), Hotel 43 (hip, with Chandler’s Steakhouse below), The Modern (also hip), and Inn at 500 (luxury, near the Capitol building).
If you’re looking at properties more toward Canyon County (Nampa, Caldwell, etc.), you probably want to be close to the freeway (I-84). There are several hotels at the Idaho Center exit (Garrity in Nampa), which include Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton, and Holiday Inn Express). A little further west (still in Nampa, but toward Caldwell, there is a cluster of hotels that includes some budget hotels (Rodeway Inn and Nampa Inn & Suites), and another cluster a couple miles further west that includes Fairfield Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn.
Here’s a great Google Map Link to hotels with prices, and you can pan and zoom the whole Treasure Valley to see location, chain, and price.
